We have always been committed to securing the confidentiality and
integrity of our customers' personal information. We are proud of our privacy practices
and want our current and prospective customers to understand what information we collect and how we use it.
What Information We Collect
We have worked with your employer, under an executed Non-Disclosure Agreement, to collect only the data we need to determine and
communicate your eligibility within this insurance program for High-limit Long-term Disability (LTD) coverage. This includes:
- Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Employee Identification Number
- Income
- Underlying Disability Insurance Coverage Amounts
- Office Location
- Work Email
Why We Collect Information
The information we collect is used for the sole purpose of determining your coverage amounts for the
High-limit LTD program and ensuring the ease of enrolling electronically. Due to the
Guaranteed Standard Issue nature of our offering, there is no other information we need to
collect during the enrollment process other than an electronic signature in conjunction with specific plan designs or enrollment actions.
What Information We Disclose
We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers (current or former), except to affiliates as permitted or required by law and in accordance with our Non-Disclosure Agreements.
Should you need to file a claim, a separate authorization and data collection process will be administered with the goal of processing your claim as confidentially and expeditiously as possible.
Confidentiality and Security
We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to secure your account information subject to regulatory reviews.
Access to the web application is only available via a secure link (SSL) using AES-256 encryption.
Data and the application are stored on a server server that is ISO and UK Government approved up to IL4 standards. Firewall protection is used to manage and control access. The server is patched and updated with the latest security updates while also running anti-virus software with security testing performed at regular intervals. Access to the data is controlled and limited to those essential to supporting the enrollment.
